However, this week the an American known as Joe has just achieved a new record, as he was able to play 50.470 poker hands in only 21 hours. But that is not all, as he also managed to finish winning 850 dollars.

THE VALUE OF TIME AND MONEY IN POKER
Many players, even though they are very talented and succeed during a period of time playing online poker, cannot manage to keep a long term career. The reason why is that apart from being very good with the cards and have a good poker strategy, a poker player who really wants to become a professional must be able of administrating properly his time and money.
A professional poker player needs to be able to dedicate enough time to practice and compete at poker tournaments. Moreover he also needs to be able to manage his own economical resources in a clever way. Sometimes that may be difficult, because after having earned a lot of money during the good times, one may be tempted to spend a lot also. However, if they really want to go far in poker they need to manage their income carefully.
To sum up, what a player needs to triumph in poker is being very disciplined to dedicate enough time to the game and to manage their income.
